Reigning Miss Nagaland, Kawimaningsiliu has been inducted as brand ambassador of Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) Nagaland.

“She will stand for women empowerment, gender equality, social justice, combat violence against women etc.,” tweeted Abu Metha, Advisor to Chief Minister of Nagaland after her induction on August 15 in Kohima.

Metha extended best wishes to her and also thanked her for being a positive ambassador and role model for Nagaland and the Naga people.

He also appreciated TaFMA and Theja Meru “for the innovative initiative that looks to empower women and promote our achievers.”

TaFMA advisor Theja Meru and Beauty & Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) president Mele Pucho also present at the induction programme.
