Mokokchung College of Teacher Education observed its 10th fresher meet with the theme ‘Avanzando - moving forward’ at the college premises on October 22. The programme was chaired by Jatina and Muiliba of 3rd semester. Welcome speech was delivered by Dr Temsurenla, Vice-Principal MCTE while speeches on behalf of 3rd semester and fresher were given by Imertetba, AGS, MCTESU and Moalemba respectively. T Alemla Longkumer, Principal MCTE exhorted the inductees to sincerely prepare for the journey ahead. She motivated the student-teachers to be open to learning experiences which will mold them as prospective teachers. The formal session was followed by an informal session which began with introductions from fresher and witnessed a variety of performances from the 3rd semester. A total of 50 fresher were inducted.
