DIMAPUR, JUNE 26 (MExN): A consultative meeting of the NDPP 6th Tening A/C, Athibung Sub-Division was held at Town Hall, Athibung Town on June 25 with Advisor, Water Resources, Namri Nchang.
Speeches were delivered by Thangneh Changloi, Reingam Pame, Luttong Sithlou, Namlia and President, NDPP 6th Tening A/C, Aku Nhai. Jonathan presented a special number.
The speakers raised issues regarding developmental activities and affirmed to strengthen the leadership of its present MLA, Namri Nchang. The members also pledged to strengthen the party at all cost and continue to work under the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and President NDPP Chinwang Konyak.
Speaking at the program, the Advisor sought cooperation from the public and leaders present. He also highlighted the various issues faced by the government. He mentioned that despite all the shortcomings, the present government Is doing its best in serving the people of the State. He said that his bound duty is to serve public interest, and strive to bring all round development. He however said that everything cannot be done at one go and sought for unity so that people from the area can excel in every field. Chang also spoke on how the pandemic has affected the global economy.
He meanwhile welcomed the former NPF leaders who have now joined the NDPP party, and said their joining will uplift the party by taking it to another level.
The program was chaired by Ngulminlen Singson, Vice President, Youth Wing, NDPP Peren region. Welcome speech and vote of thanks was delivered by Kamhen Changloi and Letgin Singson, Vice President, NDPP, Peren region. The programme began with an invocation by Seilun Singson, President, KBA (N) and ended with a benediction by Lampao Changloi, Head Deacon, KCC Athibung Town.
