NNC supports prayer, cautions FNR

Dimapur, September 11 (MExN): The NNC today informed all its members in particular and also appealed to the Naga people to observe prayerfully the coming Sunday of 12th September 2010 which is to be observed as Prayer Day for the Naga Political leaders to meet at the highest level and reconcile. “Since the believers throughout the world is going to pray for the Naga Political Groups to reconcile and unite.

The NNC is fully supporting the day and going to observe the day prayerfully for Naga Reconciliation”, stated a press note issued by Kiumukam Yimchungrii Vice President Naga National Council. The NNC however cautioned the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) to be inclusive as they “preached”. “The FNR preached time and again of their inclusiveness of all the Naga Political Groups but in practice and deed is exclusive of others except NSCN (K), FGN and NSCN (IM)”, stated the NNC.

Therefore, the press note stated that FNR should “put into deeds in truth what they preached otherwise they become liars, bias and cheaters and their reconciliation and unity will be incomplete all the time”.  “And this will not be the interest of the Naga people and the World at large who supports Naga Reconciliation and Unity in toto”, it stated.
