MON, AUGUST 13 (MExN): The National Oral Health Program, Mon District conducted an outreach Dental Health camp at Longwa Village on August 13.
The team was led by Dr I Simon Sumi, District Oral Health Officer along with doctors consisting of 5 Dental Surgeons from DH Mon, CHC Aboi and CHC Tobu and 2 Medical Officers, Nurse, CHO and medical attendant.
The camp was specially conducted for the less privileged and those lacking access to basic health care services. Dr Simon highlighted on the ill effects of tobacco use and Dr Funitchiba shared on the importance of good oral hygiene.
The medical team administered free medical and dental check-ups to a total of 209 beneficiaries.
