SBAK Nito Mount Biennial Mission Conference is underway at Khukiye Lukhai Baptist Church from April 12 to 14.
Dimapur, April 13 (MExN): The Biennial Mission Conference Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kuqhakulu Nito Mount is underway at Khukiye Lukhai Baptist Church under the theme ‘Nongu ye I Shephemi shi nani’ (You shall be my witnesses).
The Conference began on April 12 and will culminate on April 14 with Rev Kughato Chophi, Executive Secretary SBAK Nito Mount, Dr Hutton Sumi Pastor SBCZ, Katoli V Sumi Secretary, Department of Women Ministry and Vihoto H Awomi Secretary, DoM&E SBAK NM as conference speakers.
More than 60 missionaries from Bangkok, Bangalore, Nepal, Aurnachal Pradesh, Siliguri West Bengal, Kumargram West Bengal, Guwahati Assam, Titabor Assam, King David School NSBAK and more than 400 delegates from 148 affiliated Churches is attending the Mission Conference.
Vihoto H Awomi Secretary DoM&E while speaking at the first session brought references from Acts 1:8 "witnessing Christ", Matthew 5:16 "Let your light shine before men" 1st Peter 2:12 "Do good for others"
He urged the believers to be kind and humble and Witness Christ in Person. He talked about David Livingstone Missionary to Africa and called upon the believers to attempt Great things for God and expect great things from God and also talked about William Carey, The Father of Modern Missionary and said that was the God has the heart of Mission.
Dr Hutton Sumi, Pastor SBCZ speaking on the theme "You shall be my Witnesses as per the bible" said that any Christian who doesn't witness was a Mission field adding that witnessing commissions was meant for everybody not just for Missionaries and Church leaders.
