SNE officials attend fraudster MD hearing for bail plea

Mokokchung, July 26 (MExN): The all Nagaland Specular Northeast (SNE) SEOs and EOs attended today’s hearing for bail plea R.K Nath alias Shambu Das, Managing Director of Specular North East who is accused of fraud by the employees of the SNE Mokokchung branch.

The managing director of SNE, R.K Nath alias Shambu Das is the sole Managing Director of Specular North East (SNE), an “NGO” professing to be a philanthropic organization and dealing with micro financing. The Managing Director of the “NGO” SNE which has its branches in all over Nagaland has been accused of cheating by the employees of Nagaland Branch. He was arrested by Mokokchung police on July 22 from Guwahati under the criminal offence of section – 403/406/419/420/422/506.

A press release issued by “all employees of SNE Nagaland”, while informing that the verdict for today’s bail hearing will be delivered on July 27 by “the court” in Mokokchung, appealed the court, “not to release the accused R.K Nath under any circumstances from the police custody until dire justice is done for the all Nagaland Specular NorthEast employees and member depositors”. The release questioned who will take the responsibility for the liabilities amounting to 80 Lakhs (appox) that RK Nath owes the 250 employees and the 7000-8000 member depositors, if the accused is released from police custody before justice is delivered to the member depositors and employees of SNE and if he tries to abscond from the law before justice is served. The SNE Nagaland employees pointed out that the accused R.K Nath was brought to police custody with much difficulty and lots of expenses borne by the employees of SNE. In this regard, the employees of SNE Nagaland asserted that they are trying their level best by fighting for justice till date by bringing the accused under the court of Law; however, the release reminded that if the court does not provide “the required justification” under which the accused was booked and if the accused is released from police custody before justice is given, then the employees of SNE Nagaland will not be responsible to any of the liabilities owed by the accused and whatever happens after the court’s final verdict.
