DIMAPUR, JANUARY 2 (MExN): Lanchibemo Tsopoe emerged as the winner during the 2nd Open Air Rifle Shooting competion held at community hall Likya Yankho, Wokha on December 31.
It was organised by CRYT, a group of seven members which was formed in the year 2017, with the aim to strengthen the relationship between the participating teams from various colonies.
This year out of 22 male participants, Lichanbemo walked away with a cash prize of Rs 3000, while Nrithung Humtsoe and Nzanthung Odyuo were declared second and third position respectively and were were awarded cash amount of Rs 2000 & Rs 1000.
While in the female category, six women participated where Josephine Ngullie was adjudged as the winner and Mercy Tungoe in the second position and they walked away with Rs 3000 & Rs 2000 respectively.
The competition is an annual event organised by CRYT on the last day of the year where shooters from various colonies residing in Wokha Town participate every year.
