Registration drive on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission in Wokha

Wokha, April 26 (MExN): One-day awareness cum registration drive on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) for health professionals and health facilities under Wokha district was held at CMO Conference Hall Wokha on April 23. 

A press release from Chief Medical Officer’s office Wokha stated that the ABDM team comprised of Dr Nyanthung Kikon, State Nodal Officer ABDM, Dr S Yingnei Konyak, Nodal Officer (Admin) ABDM, Neipukhriezo Tetso, Joint Director (IT) ABDM and ABDM team Nagaland.

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Zubenthung Kikon welcomed the ABDM team to the district and thanked them for taking the initiative to organized the training. He encouraged the trainees to learn and implement ABDM at their respective health units. 

Dr Nyanthung Kikon, State Nodal Officer ABDM, presented a brief overview of ABDM. He highlighted that ABDM is the gateway to the digital experience and platform in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland. Dr Kikon informed that trainees have to register in the Health Professional Registry (HRP) and each health units will have to register in the Health Facility Registry (HFR) so that they are visible in the ABDM ecosystem of the country. 

By registering for HFR and getting empanelled, health units will be able to provide the Chief Minister Health Insurance and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yonjna schemes to the beneficiaries, he said. We are creating this digital health ecosystem to enable patients to have easy access to health care services in the health centers, Dr Kikon added.

The training sessions covered topics on key components of ABDM, Ayushman Bharat Health Account Number, Health care Professional Registry, Health Facility Registry and ABDM initiatives. The training concluded with onsite registration drive for HPR and HFR.
