78 Bn CRPF organize Civic Action prog

Kohima, November 18 (MExN): 78 Bn CRPF, Zubza organized a Civic Action Programme at Mezoma Village on November 15 and distributed solar lanterns. Sarbjit Singh, DIGP (Ops) Kohima, CRPF graced the occasion as the chief guest.  

A press note stated here that the chief guest Sarbjit Singh, DIGP distributed 44 solar lanterns to villagers, Schools, Hospital and Community hall through village council of Mezoma during the Civic Action Programme.  

Addressing the gathering, Sarbjit expressed optimism that the beneficiaries will be benefitted through this civic action plan and assured to do his best to get more funds allotted to the 78 Bn CRPF for providing more basic amenities to ensure better living atmosphere of local people.  

Ram Chandra, Second-in-command (Commandant-AOL) expressed immense pleasure and joy to organise the programme in Mezoma village and intimated that the village council have been contacted to ensure proper utilization of funds and distribution of needy items to needy personnel.  

He also welcomed the gathering and encouraged the beneficiaries to ensure proper utilization of the item. Village Council Chairman and his colleagues, GBs and other public leaders attended the function.
