DIMAPUR, MAY 24 (MExN): In a new development, Dr S. Amos Lkr, convenor of AAP Nagaland on Thursday clarified that the press statement carried in the local dailies on May 18 on the “impeachment” of state convenor and “unauthorised summon” to AAP spokesperson should be treated as null and void as per the directive of the national convenor office, AAP, Delhi.
According to a clarification note issued by Dr S. Amos lkr, national convenor office through an e-mail had reportedly stated that the party does not endorse any such process of impeachment of the state convenor. In light of the directive from the national convenor office, the state executive body, AAP has decided to give another chance to the suspended volunteers for their acts of subordination, the note stated. It advised the volunteers concerned to desist from such activities in the future while cautioning that strict disciplinary action would be initiated against them.
