Agape School Kiphire celebrates IWD

The Agape School Kiphire celebrated International Women's Day with students and teachers in the school campus.

Addressing the gathering, the administrator of the school Lipi urged the students to rededicate the respect and love to their mothers sisters and lady friends on a special day like this. He also said, “everyday should be international women's day by showing love and respect to women.” 

Acknowledging women as the championship of humanity in many aspects, the administrator also cited example of women like mother Teresa, Benazir Bhutto, Malala and others who have brought smiles to the voiceless.

Special song, poem recitation, skit, speech on women were the other highlights of the programme. In a lottery game of lucky woman, Sulito was declared the winner. The school also held potluck with students and teachers.
