Airtel organizes blood donation drive across NE

Employees and partners of Bharti Airtel Limited in Assam and North East states participating in the blood donation drive.
  Dimapur, June 23 (MExN):  Bharti Airtel Limited (Airtel) organized blood donation drive among its employees and partners dedicating the day to the service of the people in the region, an official release informed.   As per the release, the employees and partners of the ‘India’s largest telecom services provider’ across the region together donated 536 units of blood to Government medical college hospital blood banks, Government hospital blood banks and Red Cross Society blood banks.   Camps were successfully organized simultaneously across 14 locations including Guwahati, Tezpur, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Bongaigaon, Nalbari, Silchar, Dharmanagar, Agartala, Shillong, Aizwal, Imphal, Itanagar and Dimapur with the help of the blood banks, informed the release from Satyajit Borah, Head of the Corporate Communication and CSR, Bharti Airtel North Eastern States and Assam   Commenting on the occasion, Raveendra Desai, CEO, Assam and North East, Bharti Airtel said, “This is our 13th year of relentless service to the people of Assam and North East circle. We have been organizing blood donation camps among our employees and partners for several years now, and we feel it is a very small thankful gesture from our side to the community where we work and operate.
