IMPHAL, JUNE 10 (NNN): The All Manipur Tribal Union (AMTU) has convened an emergency meeting of all village chiefs on June 13 at Tribal Research Institute (TRI) in Imphal from 10:00 am on the agenda of "current ban on Gazette Notification of hill village recognition initiated by the then Congress State Government owing to a politically ploy tussle between Revenue Department and Hills Departments on such Gazette Notification". In this regard AMTU said they will also discuss things on the day to meet the Chief Minister, the T.D. Minister and the H.A.C Chairman on the matter.
