DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 22 (MExN): The Assam Rifles today condemned allegation that an army jawan had assaulted a government school teacher in Phek district on September 16. A press note from the PRO, Assam Rifles, Nagaland informed that “during a routine check, the Assam Rifles troops became suspicious of Wekupe Tsuhah.” It added that “on suspicion, Wekupe Tsuhah was questioned and having established the identity the individual was left in presence of the public. No physical injury was caused whatsoever.”
