BJP officials tour Mandals in Mkg

Mokokchung, July 16 (MExN): Ananta Narayan Mishra, Secretary Organization in-charge Nagaland State BJP along with State and district party officials carried out the District Mandal tour in Mokokchung from July 8 to 14. The tour started from 30th Alongtaki Mandal in the presence of State BJP President, Visasolie Lhoungu.  

During his visits to all the Mandals, Ananta Mishra challenged the party workers on implementing ten points programme at the earliest. District Committee to Booth Level Committee structure formation was also discussed thoroughly, informed a press release from Lanuyanger, Secretary, BJP Mokokchung.  

Mishra, according to the release, asserted that BJP is not against any particular religion rather the party stands for uplift of the general public under the theme “Development for all”. Stating that religion and politics should go parallel and should always stand for the welfare and benefit of the people, he also maintained that the beef ban/cow slaughter controversy is just a “mere propaganda and just to confuse the minds of the people.”

Meanwhile, the BJP official expressed concern at the condition of the road, electricity, healthcare, primary education and termed it a total system failure. He called upon all the people of Nagaland to voice against corruption, while adding the only remedy to it is to choose the right representatives in the 2018 general election.

Temjen Imna Along Lkr, Co-Convenor (Finance) and SEM, BJP Nagaland, who also participated in the tour, stated that the four lane road construction from Dimapur to Kohima was approved during Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government and it has come to reality under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also said that the Modi Government has shown immense interest in developing the Northeast Frontier Railway.  

Meanwhile, L. Temjen Jamir, ex MLA & SEM, BJP Nagaland during his visit in some Mandals encouraged the party workers to sensitize the people of Nagaland on the principles and objectives of the BJP, which is “Integral Humanism.” Stating that BJP is the only alternative party to form the next Government, he concluded that the Modi Government alone has capacity to bring an amicable solution to the ongoing political dialogue between the GOI and the state of Nagaland.

  Dr. Temsuwati, another SEM, shared his experience, journey with the party. He maintained that BJP stands for the development and uplift of the poor, is transparent in all aspects of party activities, and is corruption free party “because not a single allegation has been made in 3 years of Modi Government.” He also lamented that despite all the schemes under Central BJP Government not even a single scheme could be implemented till date in Nagaland.

  Er. Senkathang Jami, Vice President of Nagaland BJP and the in-charge of Mokokchung district, urged all the party workers to work tirelessly and contribute towards strengthening of the ten Mandals as soon as possible. He assured the District Mandals that he will visit all the villages and inspect the workings of each Mandal sooner than later so as to organize the structure of the party accordingly, the release said.  

During his visits to various Mandals, Ananta Mishra also visited historical places like Longkhum village, Molungkimong village, Sungkotenem in Mopongchuket village and Nature Park at Ungma village. If voted to power in the 2018 General Election, he promised to develop all those places to preserve the history, culture and traditions of the Naga people, it was informed.
