DIMAPUR, JANUARY 2 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth (CGY) 4th Annual Sports Meet started on Wednesday at Local Ground Chümoukedima after it was declared open by the National Leader Network Marketing, Nutritionists Therapists, Gaurav Thapa as the Special guest.
Addressing the gathering, Gaurav urged upon the participating sportspersons to be disciplined and humble themselves regardless of their achievements in the sporting field.
He further stressed on the need to preserve and promote one’s mother tongue which maintains a strong identity for the people. Gaurav Thapa also urged the youngsters to inculcate the habit of respecting their elders and leaders and urge to focus in developing Future Scope.
Earlier, God’s blessings were invoked by Doray Shrestha, Youth Leader Nagamese Baptist Fellowship Mission compound cmd; exhortation was done by Santosh Chettri, Former president CGY; welcome address was delivered by Jacob Sundas, Sports Secretary CGY. The program was chaired by Tara Chettri General secretary, CGY.
