Chedema Kickers emerged the champion of the 4th Open Penalty Shoot-Out Tournament 2018 organized by Prodigies Group at Seikhazou (D. Khel Ground), Kohima Village. The champions were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 sponsored by K&K Motors (Mahindra), Kohima.
The team’s goal-keeper Seyieneituo Tsiera was adjudged the best goal keeper and received Rs. 5000 sponsored by Kohima Computer Centre, Khedi Market, Kohima.
Legends was placed second and won a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 sponsored by KAT Emporium, Themezie. Kohima Raiders and Zavi’s Club Jotsoma finished in 3rd and 4th positions and received Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5000 sponsored by Aja Communication (LG), Kohima and Home Maker, Kohima, respectively.
Altogether, 48 teams from Kohima, Dimapur and Tseminyu competed in the tournament.
Advisor, Rural Development, Dr. Neikiesalie (Nicky) Kire and Elizabeth Ngullie, administrator Kohima Municipal Council graced the inaugural and closing function, respectively.
