Phek, July 25 (MExN): Chakhesang National Workers’ Welfare (CNWW), NSCN (IM) has informed that it has accepted the ex-communication of two of its members – Kewekope Mero and Venuzo Zholia – “till such time good sense prevail upon them.”
A press release from CNWW Secretary, D Mero (Kilonser Education) and Publicity & Information Secretary, Kuthonuzo (Tatar) informed that the two ex-communicated members on March 18, 2016 in their own statement declared not to participate in any welfare activities of Chakhesang national workers. “And after having failed in our own sincere effort asking them not to take such divisive stands at this critical juncture had gone in vain has compelled the Chakhesang national workers in the subsequent meetings attended by all Chakhesang national workers to accept their ex-communication till such time good sense prevail upon them,” the release stated.
In this connection, the Chakhesang national workers requested all guardians and lovers alike of the Naga democratic ethos not to appoint/elect the two in any committees or as office bearers.
Meanwhile CNWW said that it could not attend the Tenyimi National Workers’ Forum meeting held on July 16 in Chumukedima due to unavoidable circumstances.
