Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): Member of Legislative Assembly, CL John has expressed shock at the demise of former minister N. Yeangphong Konyak on September 12. John in a message said the deceased during his life proved to be one of the sincere, hardworking citizens as well as a competent public leader in his own capacity with integrity and vast wisdom. “It would therefore be very difficult to fill the vacuum caused by his premature death,” he added. Furthermore, the MLA added, his “untiring voluntary services” to society and individuals will be remembered by one and all. He shared deepest sorrow and sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed to God to grant peace and solace to the departed soul.
Nagaland Industrial Development Corporation (NIDC) was also shocked to learn of the sudden demise of Yeangphong Konyak, former Chairman of NIDC. In a condolence message, NIDC Managing Director Bendangtoshi Longkumer on behalf of the Corporation said words are inadequate to express the profound grief and sorrow at this moment of mourning. The Corporation conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed to God to grant solace, strength and comfort to them.
