The three-day December Fest 2018 at DDSCU, Dimapur organised by The Better Dimapur Team in collaboration with Dimapur Municipal Council, Naga Council Dimapur, Dimapur Urban Council Chairman Federation and Naga Women Hoho, Dimapur is currently underway.
Some of the highlights of the December 19 programme were invocation prayers by Rev Tenga Seb, Baptist Pastor Fellowship Dimapur, lighting ceremony, oath taking ceremony followed by speech from Lt Gen Gopal R AVSM Sm, GOC 3 CORPS, kungfu demonstration by Nagaland Shaolin Kungfu Association, performance of song by Delhi Public School choir, aeromodelling show etc.
The main highlights of the December Fest include various shows and competitions including aero modeliling show, choral competition, flower exhibition & competition, photo exhibition & competition, open dance competition, waste to art competition, face painting competition, Santa Claus competition. Tug of war and bamboo stilt race competition will be held under the tradition event.
Besides Alobo Naga and The Band, Musik-‘A’ and Zuchobeni Tungoe, national and international artist like Kate Shoo (Ukraine), Ravator (Delhi), KC Lights (Shillong) and many more will be performing in the concerts.
Another major feature of the fest will be the Cleanest Colony 2018 Award.
