Wokha, January 16 (MExN): A day long workshop on Technology Aids to Investigation (TAI) was organized by DEF Wokha on January 16 at SP Office Wokha, Conference Hall.
The workshop is a training programme on basic course for cyber investigation in DEF Wokha which focused on general awareness about the age crimes technology, assisted crimes and about technology Aids in investigation including Call Detail Record (CDR) analysis, social media profiling, etc, stated a press release.
Michael Yhome, Dy SP & OC (cyber) and ASI, Vizotuonyu Medom were the resource persons who deliberated on introduction to cyber crime investigation, phone forensics and Call Detail Record analysis with practical case studies. Earlier, SP, Wokha, Manoj Kumar (IPS) also elaborated to the participants on information through open sources.
The workshop was held to develop an understanding of social media as an aid to investigation and to understand and gain knowledge of CDR analysis and tools. Altogether 30 representatives from Crime branch staffs, District Crime Record Bureau, GOs and NGOs from DEF Wokha attended the programme.
