Dimapur Bengali Samaj distribute clothes

Dimapur, October 4 (MExN): On the eve of Shree Shree Durga Puja Festival, the Dimapur Bengali Samaj distributed clothes to 400 poor and needy women at Shree Shree Ram Thakur Sevashram, Dimapur.  

The DBS in a press release said that the distribution Programme was held on September 29 with chief guest Sunil Chalcraborty, Sr. Citizen and Social Worker. Ram Mohan Bagchi and Subrata Bhattacharjee were the special guests on the occasion.  

KK Paul, President, Dimapur Bengali Samaj welcomed the gathering and acknowledged the office bearers of Dimapur Bengali Student Union for their active participation. He conveyed special thanks to Bornali Nandy for her partial contribution of clothes to poor and needy women.  

Meanwhile, on the day of Samptami Puja (September 27) office bearers of Dimapur Bengali Samaj along with the members of Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj and Dimapur Bengali Student Union in collaboration with Hindu Seva Samiti visited all Durga Puja Pandels of in and around Dimapur as a part of Puja Parikrama.
