Dimapur Music Institute (DMI) located in Purana Bazaar was inaugurated on March 31 and the event was graced by Rev. Hisenlo Kath and Nise Meruno as the guest of honour. The proprietor of DMI Imsanger Longkumer and the Administrator, Among Jinger shared their vision behind the institute. The institute offers a comprehensive system of music study with assessments from beginners to advanced levels. They focus on nurturing creativity and developing self confidence and allow students to work at their own pace. The administrators shared that the aims and objectives of the institute is teaching music and nurturing talents, to promote and manage an institution for instruction in every kind of musical instruments, theory of music, voice production, recitation, performance lab and give the opportunity to promote themselves and become a part of a great legacy of social media and YouTube recordings and also bring music in a wider community through our many school events and also demonstrated skill in writing about music. The courses offered are electric guitar, classical guitar, drums, bass guitar, violin, choir, DJ and in Art they offer Dance and taekwondo. The syllabus is carefully designed to help the students receive the best education required to prosper in the Music and Art industry. They offer an innovative approach in the study of music and offers standard and value. The faculties are professionals in the music industry with years of experience and unparalleled knowledge of music.
