Heiwa Music Home Kohima has conducted its 1st Eudor Recital on October 21 at Red Cross Building, Kohima.

Aosenla Longchar, proprietor of Heiwa Music Home enlightened the gathering about the vision of Heiwa Music Home.

“Heiwa” is a Japanese word, which means “Peace.”

Heiwa Music Home stands to give a sense of peace & joy to its students through music education, she said.

Longchar said that Heiwa Music Home aims for inclusiveness and quality music education.

Gracing the occasion as the special guest, Amongbi Jamir, Associate Pastor, KABA appreciated the venture of Heiwa Music Home and further encouraged the parents to invest in the music education for their children.

Jamir maintained that music help all round personality development of the child.
Kusazo Rhakho, a versatile violinist and Zayie Zacchaeus, a self taught fingers type guitar player, were the guest artists of the program.

The students of the home presented recital pieces from the likes of Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Paul de Senneville, Claude Debussy and Yiruma.

The occasion also witnessed awarding of certificates to meritorious students who appeared music exam under London College of Music.

The event was hosted by Sungjemmenla Longkumer. The recital was attended by parents of the students and well-wishers.
