IEM 48th National Convention begins today

The Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM), proclaiming the Gospel since 1965 will be converging in Nagaland for the 48th National Convention starting from October 19 till the 22nd under the theme ‘Fullness in Christ (Col 1:19).’  

The host church and also the venue, Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) has made arrangements for approximate 900 delegates (700 from outside Nagaland, 100 from NBCC Affiliated Associations and 100 from Nagaland IEM supporters) who are expected to attend the Convention, Rev. Dr. N. Tzüdir, Pastor, DABA informed earlier in an official note.

  Along with the Bible study by Rev Dr. Sydney Henry, OMF International Director, East Asia South, various resource persons including Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC; Rev. Dr. Raja Singh Elias, General Secretary, IEM and Bro. Jenny Christopher, HoD, Church Ministries, IEM will speak at the Convention.  

Besides the devotion, Bible study and various sessions another highlight of the Convention will be the cultural event on Saturday starting from 2:00 pm featuring various churches from Dimapur, Doikukh from Arunachal Pradesh and many more.  

On day one, the pastors’ meet will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by inaugural worship at 5:00 pm at DABA main church located at Duncan Basti, Dimapur.
