Dimapur, March 21 (MExN): Inner Wheel District 324 chairperson Mira Oberoi visited Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur on March 19. She expressed happiness on the projects undertaken by the Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur, especially under TEACH program of RILM, and also highlighted the programs of International Inner Wheel.
The Club informed in a press release that four students of Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School who had participated in drawing competition held by Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur and organised by Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation were given awards by Mira Oberoi.
The programme was chaired by Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur president, IW Jyotsna Singh, who spoke about the various projects undertaken till date. She further highlighted that the club has adopted one more school as HAPPY school and is also planning to start a vocational training centre in Dimapur.
Earlier in the day, District Chairperson Mira Oberoi inaugurated the Adult Literacy Centre at Gautam Bosti which will be run by Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur and benefit the illiterate population of the area.
