Kohima, October 17 (MExN): Under the theme, “Together into Greater Heights through Law & Sports,” the Kohima Law College Students’ Union (KLCSU) started its 44th Annual Sports Meet 2023 at Indoor Badminton Stadium, Officer’s Hill Kohima on October 17.
The event on October 17 covered the indoor games while outdoor games will to be held at New Reserve Police Play Ground, Phesama on October 18 and 19.
Speaking on the inaugural day, the Kohima Law College (KLC) Principal NS Magh stated that despite of not having any specific sports law/Act, there are detailed rules for each sports and games which every player has to know. Special prayer for the students was pronounced by Tongpok Pongen Assistant Prof KLC followed oath taking led by KLCSU’s Sports & Games Secretary. The formal session ended with a Match Kick Off by Kezhokhoto Savi Assistant Professor KLC, inofmred a press release from the union.
