Kohima, September 25 (MExN): Kohima Police manning the interstate check gate at Khuzama during routine checking and frisking of vehicles seized 150 kg of ganja from a truck bearing registration number NL07A-3953 on September 25 at 6:45 am.
The contraband was found concealed in the hood of the truck neatly packed in 15 black polythene bags (each weighing 10 kg), stated a press release from Atu Zumvü, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (South) & PRO, Kohima.
The driver of the vehicle identified as Danii James (27 years) from Senapati, Manipur was taken into custody for possession and transportation of the said contraband and a regular case vide Khuzama P.S Case No. 0011/2017 U/S 20 (b)(ii)(C) NDPS Act was registered against him, the release added.
