Kohima, July 14 (MExN): KROS College, Leirie, Kohima celebrated its 7th fresher’s day on July 14 with Kuholi Chishi, Director Higher Education, Government of Nagaland as the invitee. Chishi refreshed the principal, faculty and all the students on the three important aspects: To Aspire, To Acquire and To Inspire towards becoming successful human Beings. The invitee herself an Academician advised the students to stay Focused on their academic performances and at the same time discovers themselves with the various Skill development programmes offered by the College.
Earlier, Mimi Suohu, Chaplain invoke God’s blessing, the 5th Semester welcome the fresher with the song, “One in Love”. The student representative, Hangchio Shio gave the welcome note, Musical Play “Take me to the Cross” was presented by KROS Fellowship. Imsuinla Imti, Principal KROS College highlighted activities and programme of the College. KROS Nightingale enthralled the crowd with the quartet titled, “New Jerusalem”. The top 20 HSSLC, Ngaugiayile thank the college authority and seniors students for organising a wonderful programme. The winner of solo inter-collegiate gospel beat contest, 2017 Thoidambo Nring presented the song, “Go The Distance”, the programme ended with the vote of thanks by Kaini (B.A 5th Semester).
