The ADC & Administrator, Mon Town Council has issued general information to all the street sellers to shift the location from in front of ADS (Supplies) office Mon to the area below ADC (Supplies) office on or before the February 14.

ASU invites articles for magazine

Kohima, February 11 (MExN):
The Angami Students’ Union invites all the members of its unit to contribute articles for the annual magazine which will be released at the forth coming 24th general conference at Sovima village. Information released by literary secretary, Neisolie Rutsa stated that the conference is expected to draw several imperative issues pertaining socio economic, political and moral life of the present society. The writers are requested to submit the articles to its office on or before February 28.

CSUTT wish candidates

Dimapur, February 11 (MExN):
The Chang Students’ Union Tuensang Town (CSUTT) has wished ‘best of luck’ to all the candidates sitting in the ongoing examinations and reminded that “nothing can substitute hard work.” The Union in a press release issued by the secretary press & information David Ben Chang has also further cautioned against any “disturbances” during the examination for the CSUTT will act in their own discretion and also appeal to the power dept to ensure regular power supply.

DC Longleng informs

Dimapur, February 11 (MExN):
Longleng Deputy Commissioner C. K Nihekhu Sema has informed all the officers in Longleng district that the visit of parliamentary secretary for RD & REPA to Longleng scheduled on February 18 has been pre-poned to February 17. All officers are directed to be present in the station and accompany the VIP.

DIS Dimapur informs adhoc teacher

Dimapur, February 11 (MExN):
The DIS Dimapur Y. Khetoshe Yepthomi in a press release has informed all the adhoc teacher who have submitted their original documents for verification to collect it from the office during office hour from February 14.

DIS Peren informs

Dimapur, February 11 (MExN):
DIS Peren has informed all government middle schools and primary schools under the establishment of DIS Peren to collect free text books from February 15 onwards during office hours.

DLHRC constituted for Mon

Mon, February 11 (DIPR):
The Deputy Commissioner, Mon Dinesh Kumar, IAS has constituted a four members District Level Human Right Committee (DLHRC) for Mon District with Deputy Commissioner as the Chairman of the committee and ADC (Planning) as its member Secretary. The other two committee members are CDPO (Social Welfare) and Superintendent of Police (SP).

Land Owners/Pattars meeting on February 19

Dimapur, February 11 (MExN):
The office of the Land Owners/Pattars has informed all land owners and pattars whose lands under the occupation of army, military and paramilitary in and around Dimapur that a meeting will be held on February 19 at 11:00 am at Hotel Saramati. The meeting has been called to discuss various issues pertaining to occupied land and to submit representation to the government of India for further necessary action. Therefore, all the members are requested to attend the meeting without fail.

Finance dept notify on budget speech

Kohima, February 11 (DIPR):
The Finance Department has requested all departments to furnish material for the budget speech of the Finance Minister for the incoming Budget Session schedule to be held in March 2011.
The material may be limited to one page in 14” size font in A-4 size paper, accompanied by a soft copy in CD. Only significant achievements with key physical and financial details along with gist of new projects and policy initiatives of the coming year may be furnished. The material should be submitted by not later than 15th February 2011 to enable timely compilation. Important updates on facts and figures, where necessary, may be made upto the last day of February 2011. Matter may be accorded utmost ‘Priority’. This was stated in an office memorandum issued by OSD (General) V. Kezo.
