Dimapur, November 22 (MExN): Life Consumer Society & RTI has appealed to the distributors of LPG in Dimapur district to display information at the show room on information of stock; selling price of LPG; backlog position; MRTP Act notification; rate for mechanic charges and periodic inspection of kitchen, hot plates and approved drawing of godown is to be displayed at the godown.
The Society president Khekuto Tuccu in a press release stated it is for awareness to the consumers that home delivery except beyond their distributor’s respective area of operation, the consumer shall have to go for cash and carry coupon from the counter of agency otherwise home delivery is mandatory for distribution of the respective area.
Home delivery as per clause 9 (C) of the LPG (regulation of supply and distribution) order 2000, and no private unlicensed individual or group would be allowed to distribute LPG cylinders except by rightful distributors.
The customer service cell is the responsibility of field officer and one can complaint to Filed Officer of the office of the Deputy Manager (LPG Sales) IOC Ltd, 7th Mile Indane Bottling Plant Dimapur.
