Kohima, October 12 (MExN): With a convincing 3-1 victory over MRH FC, the Football Fanatics Club became the third team to enter the semifinal of the ongoing Morning Champions Cup (MCC) on October 12. The 3rd quarterfinal match of the cup at Kohima Science College Ground, Jotsoma saw a goalless first half with none of the team making any breakthrough. However, when the match resumed in the second half, the FFC was determined make the match count and changed its strategy. A scintillating second half performance by Atokito, who scored a hattrick, sealed the fate of the MRH. Surprised with the emphatic onslaught, MRH responded meekly and could score only one goal leading to the final score line of 3-1 against its favor. The 4th and final quarterfinal will see Phoenix Rising fighting it out with FC Pezielietsie for the last semifinal.
