Nagaland: 5th Altrura Open Football Tournament

Sumi Boys, Vidima Youth enter finals

  Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): Sumi Boys Club and Vidima Youth Organisation entered the finals of the 5th Altrura Open Football Tournament after winning their respective matches at Chümoukedima Town Local Ground today.   In the first semifinal, Sumi Boys Club beat FC Pegasus 2-1. Seimin of FC Pegasus opened the account in the 6th minute, a release from Megosielie Kruse, Convenor, Organising Committee mentioned.   After the breather, Sumi Boys found the equalizer through Anato in the 18th minute while Athalo stroke the second goal in the 36th minute to guide Sumi Boys club to the final.   The second semifinal match between Vidima Youth Organisation and CABA Youth Ministry ended with 1-0.   Stepping up the game after the first session culminated in a goalless draw, the ball came in favour of Vidima Youth Organization at the 48th minute when Yanger scored the lone winning goal to take the team to the final.   Meanwhile Neiba Shüya, President Chümoukedima Town Youth Organisation and Abi Rüpreo, Pitch Curator, Nagaland Cricket Association were the match patrons respectively.   The final match between Sumi Boys Club and Vidima Youth Organisation will clash on September 15, 2:00 pm, the release said.   Razouvotuo Chatsu, Chairman, Chümoukedima Village Council and Chümoukedima Area Village Chairman Association will be the special invitee for the closing ceremony.
