Seithekema (C) Village Council condemns

DIMAPUR, JUNE 12 (MExN): The Seithekema C Village Council and the youth organisation has condemned the murder of a 5-year-old child, who went missing on June 6 and was found murdered the next day with an injury on his head. “It is the most unfortunate shocking incident and monstrous act ever took place in the village which is unacceptable and has no place in society,” a press release from the council stated. It assured that the village authority would give full cooperation and urged the law enforcement agencies to investigate the case with a free hand and book the culprit as per the law of the land at the earliest. It meanwhile conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. 

NSCN (IM) mourns

DIMAPUR, JUNE 12 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed grief at the passing of KT Behluwng, Deputy Kilonser of NSCN/GPRN on June 9. He joined the Naga national service on July 22, 1998. A press release from the MIP of the NSCN (IM) further mourned the demise of Lieutenant KS Simon, of W-Tkl region of Kiusumong Battalion, Naga Army, on June 11. He joined the Naga Army on the September 14, 2015. The Longvibu of the Naga Army has bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of Captain in recognition of his service to the Naga nation. “For their selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and they shall be remembered for all time to come,” the NSCN (IM) said. It further expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.
