The Jalukie Battalion Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) conducted visit of students of Assam Rifles Public School (H) Jalukie to Sainik School Punglwa in Peren District of Nagaland on October 18. A press release from the PRO, HQ IGAR (N) stated that during the event, the students were briefed by the faculty of Sainik School Punglwa about its inception, routine, various academic curriculum, co-curricular activities and other facilities available in the school. The students interacted with School Cadet Appointments about the school and their preparation for entrance examination. A total of 59 students and three teachers visited the school. SUMMAN (Surakshit Matritva Aashwasan) a government initiative that focuses on assured delivery of maternal and new born health services was launched at Tamlu CHC by Dr Imnameren Phom DIO (RCH/UIP) in the presence of Neiloze Tep ADC, Tamlu on October 15. ADC encouraged ASHA and Angwadi workers to work together for successful implementation of all national programs. The DIO presented PPT presentation on SUMAN.
