New church building of Naga United Village BC inaugurated

Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): A new building of the Naga United Village Baptist Church was inaugurated on November 4 at Naga United Village, Dimapur.  

Dedicated by Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) executive secretary Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, the church has around 800 seating capacity.  

Speaking on the occasion, Rev. Dr. Tetseo said that the church is a house of prayer and a place of teaching God's word. Church is a place of preaching gospel and also a place of cleansing oneself, he stated. “It is also a place to help poor, needy and under-privileged people and make them understand the meaning of love which was shown to us through Christ,” Rev. Tetseo added.  

The dedication ceremony was led by church advisor C Danyi Lea, while the church service was led by Pastor Kuhusheyi Chotso.  

New church building committee chairman Wezhiepe Letro gave brief report on the construction of the new church.
