NGRC-1 CU celebrates advent Christmas

 

Kohima, December 13 (MExN): Nagaland Government Registered Class-1 Contractors’ Union (NGRC-1 CU) celebrated Advent Christmas on December 13 at its office conference hall, Nagaland Civil Secretariat road, Kohima with Advocate Kezhokhoto Savi President Nagaland Voluntary Consumers Organisation (NVCO) as speaker.

 

Advocate Savi who is also the Union legal advisor/standing counsel in his message shared on the life of on Jesus and challenged the contractors to exemplify their services to the state likewise, a press release from NGRC-1 CU President Seyiekuolie and Vice-President Bendang Jamir stated.

 

He dwelled on the life of Jesus and cited instances of how his birth, teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection were significant and spiritually inspiring.

 

“For the same way you see him going, he is coming back the same way. Try Jesus for He is Wonderful,” he spoke.

 

The speaker further challenged the contractor fraternity to remember that we are all the children of God and we are to show in our deeds and in our living.

 

In Nagaland, bridges are fallen apart, our roads are like rivers especially on rainy season” he said.

 

Further calling on the attendees to exemplify their duties and assignments in the state, Savi added, “The contractors are to ensure quality works so as to make our land a better living. We hold huge responsibilities in raising infrastructural development be roads or buildings or bridges,”

 

We need the Kingdom of God in our work places, Advocate Savi further added.

 

Earlier, Union Vice-President Bengdang Jamir led the service. Treasurer Krosal Neikha pronounced the invocation and Christmas greetings was delivered by the Union President Seyiekuolie.

 

The President further informed that the Union office will remain closed from December 17 and re-open on January 14.
