Dimapur, September 11 (MExN): The Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) has informed the residents of Notun Bosti colony that following the launch of Electors Verification programme by Election commission of Indian, verification and authentication of every elector is mandatory.
Therefore, NBCD, chairman, E Jon Ezung and Secretary, Kavito Ayemi through a press release has notified the residents of Notun Bosti jurisdiction that those who are in electoral roll are asked to contact their respective khels chairmen, GBs, secretaries under Notun Bosti colony for verification and queries.
The electors are requested to submit any of the following documents: Aadhaar card, Indian passport, Driving Lincens, Government ID card, Bank pass Book, Pan card, Ration card and latest electricity, water, telephone, gas Bill and for electoral roll correction, rectification and transformation (transfer). The verification will be conducted every Saturday throughout September at the council hall from 10:00 am.
The Council also issued “final warning” to all business establishments and shop keepers within its jurisdiction to use “Notun Bosti” instead of “Nuton Basti, Nutun Bosti or Nodon Basti” etc and failure to comply with the council directive would invite heavy penalty. The correspondence address to the council/colony should be addressed as “Notun Bosti”.
The Council has also informed that new office bearers of Notun Bosti Youth Forum has been selected with Pluto V Chophy as president, Rangpanger Longkumer as General Secretary and Kikhevi Yepthomi GB as youth banker along with four other members.
