NPCC appoints GK Zhimomi as communication & coordination Chairman

DIMAPUR, MARCH 31 (MExN): In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has assigned its General Secretary, Captain GK Zhimomi as Chairman, Communication and Coordination to coordinate with the AICC, all 37 Pradesh Congress Committees, all NPCC officials and members to organize help and relief for Nagaland’s stranded students, employees and citizens stationed elsewhere in the nation and abroad.

A press release from the NPCC President, K Therie further stated that Zhimomi would coordinate with the DCCs and frontalorganisations to organize help and relief for stranded tourists, students including foreign students and daily wage earners. He has also been assigned to take up issues of racial discrimination against Nagaland’s citizens on appropriate platforms. Other responsibilities include coordination with the rural districts, particularly in matters of civil supplies and medical needs, including coordination with the State and district administrations.
