NPF Youth Wing reacts to BJP Pughoboto Mandal

Kohima, August 30 (MExN): Reacting to questions from the BJP Mandal Pughoboto asking why the NPF Central Youth Wing only sought termination of those appointments made during November 1, 2015 to April 30, 2016, the NPF Central Youth Wing today countered the BJP Pughoboto by stating that it has taken up measures in various departments also, to check unauthorized appointments without Government approvals.

In this regard, the Youth Wing in a statement through its Media Cell has sought the support and co-operation from its coalition partner and not be misled by individuals with “vested interests”.

Stating that it was constrained to issue a rejoinder against the Mandal, the NPF Youth Wing maintained that it upholds the Election manifesto of ensuring “Good and Corruption Free Governance” and thus, has been keeping strict vigil over the various activities of the Government. Therefore, it acts on its own and not under the pressure of any individual/organization(s), the Youth Wing informed.

The BJP Pughoboto Mandal had accused the NPF Central Youth Wing of victimizing only a certain section of people in the guise of justice and had asserted, “Any organizations while taking any steps to check corruption should do so without bias and partiality.”

With regard to the illegal appointments in the Health & Family Welfare Department, the Central Youth Wing informed that it has received various complaints from numerous applicants on appointments being made in the H&FW Directorate without approval from the competent authority. This has compelled the Central Youth Wing to take initiative to specifically interfere into this department, the Youth Wing stated in its release.

Pointing out that the appointments were done “illegally without any Government approval”, the Youth Wing confirmed that there were no vacancies against the appointments made. “Hence the illegal appointments made in the Health & Family Welfare Department by those corrupted officers concern who were in the verge of retirement are all fictitious and bogus,” the Youth Wing stated adding that many of those illegal appointees have been victimized by the corrupt officers responsible for appointing them.

“This illegal appointments were made without the approval of the concern Minister and Commissioner & Secretary (For short Government), who has the only authority to appoint against resultant vacant/sanction post which are outside the purview of the NPSC and in tune with the Government standing order,” the NPF Central Youth Wing stated and urged its “friends” in the BJP Mandal to 'distinguish between the Directorate and the Government'.

“It cannot be denied that the concern corrupt officer has done all this illegal appointments with an ulterior motive and vested interest which in fact, has jeopardized the career of those innocent people,” it added.
