NSF reiterates demand for indigenous applicants

Dimapur, November 8 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) today reiterated its demand for giving first preference to indigenous inhabitants’ applicants of the state in the education department.  

If any vacancy arises, the indigenous inhabitants should be accommodated first before other applicants are considered, NSF stated in a press release from its Vice President Boveio Poukai Duo and Secy. Information & Publicity Duo S Shilukaba Longchar  

“The forth-coming Departmental Examination the criteria for having B.Ed qualification should not be made mandatory,” it added.   The demands were the reiteration of a memorandum submitted to the Minister School Education, Nagaland on September 22, the NSF maintained.  

The Federation further asserted that it will “leave no stone unturned to ensure that the demands are fulfilled in the larger interest of the aspiring candidates and to give all the applicants a fair chance to appear for the examination.”
