DIMAPUR, JULY 16 (MExN): Observing that many auto rickshaw drivers continue to ply without putting on uniforms despite repeated reminders, the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur on Saturday issued a notice to the general public not to pay passenger fees if the auto-driver is not wearing his/her uniform while driving. “All commuters/passengers are informed not to pay passenger fees to such defaulting auto-drivers. Any complaint can be lodged to the concerned Traffic personnel on duty or to the concerned ACP Traffic,” an order from the DC informed. This order will come into force from August 1, 2016 onwards.
