PGC’s 35th Literary & Cultural Day held

Pfutsero, August 6 (MExN): The 35th Annual Literary and Cultural Day was held on August 5 with the programme showcasing a slew of talents from Literary to Arts, drama, debate, quiz, speech, and handicrafts.  

Speaking at the occasion, Principal of the college, Dr. Moanochet Longchar challenged the students to be involved in activities that bring positive results. Insisting that co-curricular activities are never to be considered of less value, he stressed on the need for all round development.  

Involvement and participation in literary and co-curricular activities leads to self development, he added and advised the students to utilise their skills and talents as part and parcel of education.  

He also impressed upon the participants to imbibe and preserve our rich culture and establish our identity in the fast changing world.  

Earlier, Medozu Mero, HOD, Pol. Sc. read the scriptures and invoked God's blessings, and the epilogue was given by Welou K. Tunyi, Lit. & Cultural Secy. PGC.  

The programme was followed by sale of handicrafts made by students and certificates and cash awards were given away to the winners of various competitions.
