Phüsachodümi students general session-cum-Freshers’ day held

Kohima, September 9 (MExN): The 23rd general session-cum-freshers’ day of the Phüsachodümi Students’ Union Kohima was held on September 8 at Ura Academy hall, Kohima.  

Akhale Vizol Khamo, Additional Director (HOD) Department of Tourism, who was the speaker stressed on the importance of social etiquettes, hospitality, honesty and hardwork in every student’s life, a press release from its President Vevozo Vero stated.  

She also highlighted on the blooming industry of tourism in Nagaland and employment opportunities in tourism for the thousands of educated unemployed youths.  

Vevozo Vero in his presidential addressing the freshers stated that "This is the first step towards following your dreams and achieving your goals and i believe as you journey towards your goal with hardwork and honesty it will bring more achievements to yourself and to our community.”  

"I believe that all of us as an individual are leaders in our own ways and together we can make a better tomorrow and contribute to our community and society at large" the president stated.  

Vekropa Cürhah, Additional Secretary (retd.) exhorted the students on the occasion and highlighted the importance of students life to succeed in their career.  

The newly elected executive members for the tenure 2018-2019 was also elected with Vekusa Ruho was elected as the new President while Thepuchokholu Chuzho and Vezhorayi Kotso were lecetd as Vice President and General Secretary.
