Imphal, January 27 (NNN): Security forces arrested an activist of Revolutionary People’s Front/People’s Liberation Army (RPF/PLA) on the eve of Republic Day at Tamenglong district’s Kaiphundai, a Naga village adjacent to Jiribam, a police source said. After receiving a tip-off that some armed persons were loitering in the area, Kh Kiran, 25, was arrested by a combined team of Jiribam unit police commandos and personnel of 37 Assam Rifles while conducting frisking around 7:30 am, the police source added. The RPF/PLA activist is said to be a resident of Lamlen Khunou, Jiribam.
