Dimapur, September 21 (MExN): The Saptiqa Area Students Union undertook an educational tour in the schools under its jurisdiction on September 19 and 20.
The union, during the tour also checked the attendance of teachers and expressed dismay over the irregularity of teachers posted at Government high school Saptiqa.
The tour, led by its president Toino Awomi, interacted with students and teaching staffs and expressed the need to impart quality education for a just society, a release from its President Toino Awomi informed.
Therefore, the union has further directed those irregular teachers to immediately return to their place of posting failing which the union will not hesitate to mention the name of those teachers and initiate its own course of action.
The union further warned that the academic session almost at the end, will not compromise the career of students due to the negligence of those irregular teachers.
