Noklak, September 19 (MExN): The SDPDB Noklak meeting was held on September 18 at KTC hall. A DIPR report stated that during the meeting one of the agenda was proposal for additional fund under LADP 2019-20 as submitted by the Advisor. 


Upgradation of JE Power to SDO Electrical post at Noklak HQ and provision of separate feeder line for Noklak and Thonoknyu sub-division was discussed and unanimously approved to be forwarded to the authority concerned for early necessary action owing to the frequent disruption of power supply, which causes immense hindrances for various activities. 


Proposal for consideration of Thonoknyu Block as Aspiration Block, which was submitted by Advisor, L. Khumo, has been approved for the consideration of the Government basing on the economic and developmental ground realities. 


Establishment of AYUSH Hospital at Thonoknyu as proposed by Advisor L. Khumo was approved for consideration by the concerned authority on account of the lack of health care facilities in the Sub-Division. Grant-in-Aid to Baptist School Thonoknyu as forwarded by the Sub-Divisional Education Officer, Noklak was approved for forwarding to the concerned authority. Staff Quarter facility at AYUSH Hospital Noklak as brought up by the member present was discussed at length and approved for construction of two staff Quarter on urgent need basis.


Khumo thanked the members for their attendance and encouraged the members to be proactive in raising the concern of the area in the line with their respective department for the welfare of the people.


Department of Food and Civil Supplies highlighted on the various activities implemented under Noklak. State Bank of India, Noklak Branch has been endorsed to present their activities in the next meeting. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by the Chairman.
