Stating that NPF stands for safeguarding Naga identity, he reiterated that “unless the people stand firm, speak the truth and preserve our identity and faith, a time may come when the unique identity of the Nagas and their faith could be destroyed by forces alien to the Naga people.”

He asked the people to take wise decision and elect the leaders who can protect and safeguard their interest and at the same time work for all round development of the state.

Kezhienyi Khalo, NPF candidate from 17th Chizami A/C said he entered into politics seeing the sufferings and living conditions of the people. He regretted that the condition of 17th Chizami A/C was regressing instead of making headway over the past many years.

NPF, he said, is the only political party which upholds the Naga identity.
