The hall prepared for a capacity of 12, 000 people was filled and hundreds stood outside to listen to the word of God at NER Agri Expo site, 4th Mile, Dimapur on Sunday morning.

Pastor Ed Citronnelli of World Healing International Ministries delivered the sermon and pronounced a special prayer for the youth. He said Naga youths are the future of Nagaland and India and that they will “shake this nation” through Jesus.

He prophesied that people in Nagaland would be leaders of the nation and that said many youth would hold important positions in the country. He said the Lord’s spirit was asking, “Why the youths are in the background of the churches?”

Exhorting the gathering, Co-convenor of the Festival, Y. Kikheto Sema spoke about the objectives of organizing the event. He said the Naga society particularly Sumi community has been rife with conflicts among different sections of the society and even within Church workers themselves. Many people lost their lives not to sickness but to fratricide, he added. Kikheto said these were the reasons why the healing festival was organized and urged upon all to receive the blessings from God.

Er. Khetovi also delivered greetings and stressed on the importance of reviving the spirit of oneness among the Sümis. He expressed concern over fragmentation of Sümi community due to various branches (denomination) of the Christian Church. He called for the Sümis to forgive and forget the past misgivings and come together.

Spring Voice, Nagagenous and others presented special numbers during the service.
A special prayer for Sümis was initiated by WSBAK Executive Secretary, Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi.
The Healing Festival culminated on Sunday evening.
